Hello, again, everyone! This weekend, we have 3 premieres. Our Lockup Marathon on Saturday night starts at 6PM. At 10PM, we continue a new season of Lockup Raw with "Ain't No Hotel": Arizona's Maricopa County Jail prides itself as, “America’s Toughest Jail.” But we went behind the headlines to find stories that ranged from the unexpected...to horrifying. And at the center of this most unusual jail, is one of America’s most controversial figures…Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Please join us on facebook and twitter. Sunday at 6PM, "Caught on Camera: Bold, Brazen and Bizarre" premieres: A mother cheers on her teenage daughter in an after-school fight; a McDonald's customer loses her cool over Chicken McNuggets; a woman puts a cat in the trash! A donkey is sent soaring through the sky on a parasail; and violence erupts at a tow yard. These are fights that are bold, thieves who are brazen, and unbelievable scenes that couldn't be more bizarre. And it's all Caught on Camera! In addition, we are airing the special program, Tom Brokaw Presents: Bridging the Divide at 12PM on Saturday and 1PM on Sunday.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 17
10PM: Lockup Raw: Nothing But Time: In prison, time can be an inmate’s worst enemy. Some find constructive…if not unusual ways to fill it. Others depend on humor to pass it. And then there are those who can only hopelessly watch it tick away.
11PM: Lockup: New Mexico: This state penitentiary was the site of one of the bloodiest prison riots in 1980 and our cameras found disturbing physical reminders of the carnage. It’s a prison with a long history of violence that used to be called “gladiator school” by inmates. MSNBC shows you how prison officials work to curb the violence, placing inmates who cannot be managed in the general population into single cells, where all behavior is monitored and every movement is restricted.
12AM: Lockup: Return to Pelican Bay: After five years, MSNBC goes back to Pelican Bay State Prison in Northern California, long known as one of the most violent and volatile penitentiaries in the nation. On our first visit, it was under lockdown - still reeling from one of the worst prison riots in U.S. history. Has the situation improved? Find out as our cameras take an in-depth look at men deemed too violent for any other institution.
1AM: Lockup Holman: Extended Stay - Snake and Fluffy: Of the nearly one thousand inmates at Holman, the 200 most dangerous must be segregated from the rest. For inmates with violent crimes and no parole dates in sight, their minds require distractions to stay sane. It could be the friend next door, or the relative hundreds of miles away, and when these comforts are taken from them, the results can be explosive. In this episode of Lockup: Holman-Extended Stay, get up close and personal with Bobby Gilbert, or “Snake,” who, because of his violent behavior behind bars, has spent 19 of his 43 years in the solitary confinement of Ad Seg. And meet Sgt. English who has spent a good portion of his career at Holman watching over Bobby… and the stray cats that dog him day in and day out!
2AM: Lockup Holman: Extended Stay - Locked Up Love: Prison is a lonely place for any inmate. Relationships that existed on the outside become strained..And the ones that blossom within the prison walls are often dangerous. Or they can be simply a one-sided obsession, leading to nothing but trouble.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18
6PM: Lockup: Inside Angola: Ninety percent of the inmates serving time in Angola Prison in Louisiana will die behind bars. But while inside, they have some interesting experiences. From the rodeo that attracts 10,000 spectators to the dog teams trained to track the escapees, we take viewers inside America's oldest prison.
7PM: Lockup New Mexico: Extended Stay - Institutionalized: Inmates who become disruptive or violent at the Penitentiary of New Mexico are transferred to the lock-up units in level 5 or 6. The trouble is, once inside, their behavior doesn’t always improve – a lesson rookie officer Amy Lee is learning the hard way.
8PM: Lockup Holman: Extended Stay - You Wanna Work Where?: For the officers and staff working at Alabama's Holman Correctional Facility, the biggest challenge is dealing with difficult inmates. According to Warden Grantt Culliver, burnout is a constant problem, and unexcused absences create staff shortages. That means that designated jobs, like cell searches, which each shift has a requirement to perform, don't always get done. In addition, with a steady decline in staffing, the pressure is on the new recruits. But there are perks to working at Holman; it offers good pay and benefits, especially for people who don't have a college education, and candidates have to pass a very strict and tough physical test in order to complete the training.
9PM: Lockup Raw: Nothing But Time
10PM: Lockup Raw: Ain't No Hotel [PREMIERE]: Arizona's Maricopa County Jail prides itself as, “America’s Toughest Jail.” But we went behind the headlines to find stories that ranged from the unexpected...to horrifying. And at the center of this most unusual jail, is one of America’s most controversial figures…Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
11PM: Lockup Holman: Extended Stay - The Shakedown: Alabama's Holman Correctional Facility is a Maximum Security prison and an environment that sometimes breeds violence. Inmates are constantly making weapons for protection and arming themselves to the teeth, and the officers must do whatever they can to curb future attacks. The challenge? Correctional officers are outnumbered 10 to 1 and are constantly searching more than 1000 inmates to find their home-made weapons, which are very sharp and very easy to conceal. But not enough staff and too many weapons can only lead to one thing. Only hours after our crew wrapped shooting, an inmate was stabbed in the honor dorm.
12AM: Lockup Holman: Extended Stay - 'Til Death Do Us Part: Holman houses more than 170 men who have been sentenced to death and are awaiting execution, as well as roughly 360 who are serving life sentences without the possibility of parole. All are living with the inevitable…that their only chance of getting out of prison will be inside a coffin. For inmates serving these lengthy sentences, one day blends into the next, weeks into months, months into years. And a lifetime slips away. The challenge for these men is to find meaning in their lives and not surrender to hopelessness and despair.
1AM: Lockup Raw: Ain't No Hotel
2AM: Lockup Raw: Ganging Up: Even prison officials admit that it's a must - when you come to prison, you have to join a gang; you have no choice. It's how inmates say they achieve recognition, power and control in an environment that's designed to prevent that.

6PM: Caught on Camera: Bold, Brazen and Bizarre [PREMIERE]: A mother cheers on her teenage daughter in an after-school fight; a McDonald's customer loses her cool over Chicken McNuggets; a woman puts a cat in the trash! A donkey is sent soaring through the sky on a parasail; and violence erupts at a tow yard. 7PM: MSNBC Films: Hoarding: My Mother's Garden: In the suburban setting of a quiet tree-lined street in Granada Hills, California, a 61-year-old woman pushes a grocery cart to her front door. We watch her climb into her house through a window covered in ivy and cobwebs, stepping on top of stacks of newspapers, piles of debris, rotting material, clothing, and toys; a mass of waste that has literally pushed her out of the house and into her garden. "My Mother’s Garden" is the story of Eugenia Lester, whose hoarding disorder has entered a dangerous and life threatening stage. Directed by her daughter Cynthia, it documents how one family comes together to cope with a mother’s disorder and rebuild a lost sense of family.
8PM: Taken: The Elizabeth Smart Story: Behind a veil . . . a young girl is hidden in plain sight. She is Elizabeth Smart, taken from her home in the middle of the night on June 5, 2002, and incredibly, 9 months later, found alive. Although stories like this don't happen that often, when they do, they rarely have a happy ending. 8 years after they took her, her kidnappers finally faced justice. What happened to Elizabeth Smart during her captivity? How did she survive? And how did her family cope with the unthinkable?
9PM: To Catch a Predator: Long Beach 1: Dateline's investigation begins in Long Beach, California. And this time, someone's gone online to post a warning that hidden cameras are in the neighborhood. Do you think that stopped these men?
10PM: To Catch a Predator: Long Beach 2: Dateline's hidden camera's are back in Long Beach, California, where the long arm of the law has reached out and grabbed more than three dozen men -- in just three days. And perhaps the most surprising arrest in our most recent investigation? It didn't happen overnight in our undercover house -- it happened in broad daylight, in a public park.
11PM: To Catch a Predator 6: Florida: Part Six of Dateline NBC's hidden camera investigation into the national epidemic of grown men using the Internet to solicit underage teens for sex. In this episode, sexual predators are lured from the Internet to a home in Fort Myers, Florida, where Correspondent Chris Hansen and hidden cameras are ready to confront them.

1AM: Predator Raw: The Unseen Tapes 2: Just when you thought you'd seen it all, we bring you Chris Hansen in his own words talking about the "To Catch A Predator" series, along with raw footage from the sting operation that took place in Riverside, CA. It's the first investigation that was done with law enforcement on hand.
